   Addis Ababa – Semera – Afdera – Erta Ale

   Fly from Addis Ababa to Semera, where your Danakil adventure begins. After meeting your guide and support team, start the journey toward Erta Ale by driving through the breathtaking scenery of Afdera. Along the way, visit the beautiful Lake Afdera before continuing to the awe-inspiring Erta Ale volcano. In the evening, experience the dramatic volcanic landscape and the unique atmosphere of this remote desert region.

   Erta Ale – Hamed Ela – Lake Assale

   Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Erta Ale. After breakfast, continue the journey toward Hamad Ela, a remote desert settlement and important base for exploring the Danakil Depression. Later, visit Lake Assale and enjoy the beauty of the salt lake landscape. Set up camp in Hamed Ela and spend the night surrounded by the natural silence and beauty of the Danakil region.

   Hamed Ela – Dallol – Semera

   After breakfast, drive to Dallol, one of the most unique geological sites in the world. Explore its colorful landscapes, bubbling hot springs, fumaroles, mineral formations, and surreal salt structures.
